RMS Hair Extensions only offers double drawn hair for the highest quality and longest lasting extensions. The hair is comprised of 60% Mongolian 40% Russian. Mongolian hair is used for strength and Russian hair offers a silky smooth natural feeling.

Double drawn hair is comprised exclusively of hair that is the exact same length. This gives the hair a very smooth, polished look. It is used for achieving added length and volume and suits people with thin and thick hair. RMS Hair Extensions start from 60 grams in weight and 16 inches in length.

The next highest quality of hair extensions is 100% Russian Hair from the ponytail, available only in two salons in Melbourne and costs $4-7k.
Our METHOD
WEFT hair extensions
A weft is a curtain of hair that has been sewn-in at the top of hair extension to bind the hair together and is then connected in rows throughout the head, generally via, beads or sewn along a small horizontal braid created in the client's hair.

We recommend 6 – 8 weeks for maintenance.
FIRST CONSULTATION

At RMS Hair Extensions, it is essential to book in a first consultation with one of our hair extension experts if you are a new client. In this consultation, we discuss the best method for your hair, weight/grams of hair extensions, and which hair type should be used. During the consultation, we will colour match and discuss any additional services you may need to achieve the perfect blend. Colour/cutting or smoothing treatments are sometimes needed in order to achieve the best results. Our stylists are trained by RMS EDUCATION on how to achieve the perfect and most seamless blend.

After your consultation, we will require a deposit to secure the hair extensions for you. We will also book you in for your next appointment to fit the new hair extensions and assist with any other services you may require.
